If you are seeing this error message, it is a critical error!

Please take immediate action as your customers are not receiving emails from our apps.

To ensure emails from our apps are being received by your customers, please log into your app admin (Gratisfaction, Social Boost or Scratch and Win!) -> Business settings -> SMTP settings -> Now check the issues listed below and finally click on 'Test connection' to verify if the connection is now working fine.

Some of the possible reasons could be:

Gmail

  1. Check if your email sending 'Daily Limit' reached. If so you may need to upgrade your Gmail plan. This can be checked by logging into your Gmail account.
  2. Check the credentials you've entered by going to app admin (Gratisfaction, Social Boost or Scratch and Win!) -> Settings -> SMTP settings

Brevo API

  1. Check if your email sending 'Daily Limit' reached. If so you may need to upgrade your Brevo plan. This can be checked by logging into your Brevo account.
  2. Check the API key you've entered is valid. To check this please go to app admin (Gratisfaction, Social Boost or Scratch and Win!) -> Settings -> SMTP settings

Brevo SMTP

  1. Check if your email sending 'Daily Limit' reached. If so you may need to upgrade your Brevo plan. This can be checked by logging into your Brevo account.
  2. Check the credentials you've entered by going to app admin (Gratisfaction, Social Boost or Scratch and Win!)  -> Settings -> SMTP settings

SendGrid

  1. Check if your email sending 'Daily Limit' reached. If so you may need to upgrade your SendGrid plan. This can be checked by logging into your SendGrid account.
  2. Check the API key you've entered is valid. To check this please go to app admin (Gratisfaction, Social Boost or Scratch and Win!) -> Settings -> SMTP Settings
  3. Check if the API key has public access. To check this please log into SendGrid ->Settings -> API Keys -> Edit API Key -> API Key Permissions

Others

  1. Check the credentials you've entered by going to [[app name]] app admin -> Settings -> SMTP settings
