People will only make an effort if your prizes are attractive and valuable

Prizes are one of the most critical factors in enticing people to participate and share your sweepstakes, giveaways and contests. 

In order to have a successful campaign the prizes should be: 

  • Valuable
  • Multiple in quantity. Increasing the number of prizes increases the participation
  • Relevant to your target audience.

Often we see that low value, unattractive and less number of prizes as one of the biggest reasons for low participation in the campaigns. 

Prizes can be relevant to your niche or products and services that you sell

You can get one or more sponsors (e.g. product suppliers, packaging providers, partners or any other stakeholders) to donate or contribute to the prize.  E.g. Dinner for two at a restaurant that is your partner.  In return, you can give them free advertising by mentioning their name in the prize details and description of the campaign. This can bring in more visibility and sales for your partners. 

In addition to the prizes for your final draw (aka Jackpot or grand prizes), consider giving away daily, weekly and monthly prizes as well. You can do this by going to Social Boost Admin--> Campaigns--> Click on the campaign title to edit --> Prizes
